The Bookseller reports that publisher Michael O'Mara plans to publish the memoirs of a WWI soldier, which were first made public on a blog established by his grandson. According the report:
"Bill
Lamin discovered his grandfather Harry Lamin’s letters home to his family from
the First World War trenches and posted them on a blog, Experiences of an
English Soldier (http://wwar1.blogspot.com), posting up the letters on the
equivalent day 90 years later. It has attracted over 2 million hits so
far. The book is a collection of Harry’s letters, with historical
background to his life and battalion written by Bill and illustrated with
original letters and other personal documents, plus black and white photographs
and maps."
Get up into that attic and check for old letters!
