I love this quote from the book "The Big Leap: conquer your hidden fear and take life to the next level," by Gay Hendricks:
"You’ll never have enough money to buy all the stuff you don’t
really need, and you’ll never have enough time to do all the things you really
don’t want to do."
He adds:
"Our Newtonian concept of both time and money is built on scarcity. The advertising industry thrives on the fact that they know this and most of us don’t. Advertising encourages us to want a lot of things we don’t really need. It also encourages us to want to do a lot of things we don’t really want to do."
The books reminds us: We are the boss of time, not the slave of time. That's so easy to forget...
