Time reports that Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulker has put his blood into a new book--literally. Publisher Kraken Opus is selling a limited edition of the sportsman's autobiography in which the signature pages are made of a mix of paper pulp and a pint of his blood.
Each of these ten volumes cost $75,000 (proceeds to charity) and they've sold out.
Time says that "to many, Tendulkar is a religious icon."
Hmm, a step too far for me. But if it helps, I'm willing to put some used chewing gum into the next edition of my book...
