The online self-publishing field is getting more crowded with the entry of Barnes & Noble's PubIt! (their exclamation point). You will be able to upload files in various formats, including Word, TXT, HTML and RTF for free re-formating to ePUB.
For books you price between $2.99 and $9.99, you get 65% of the list price; for those priced $2.98 or less, or $10 or more, you will get 40%. It will take no longer than 72 hours from the time of submission to sale.
I'm glad to see another entrant to the field--there have been quite a few complaints about Amazon's CreateSpace so maybe having another big player in this field will lead to some healthy competition.
