When graffiti artist David Choe painted the halls of Facebook headquarters he was given a choice: get paid a few thousand dollars or stock options.
Despite initially thinking Facebook was pointless, he opted for the stock options.
Fast forward seven years, when Facebook goes public and the artist is set to make approximately $200 million.
And the moral of the story is...actually, there's no moral. Sometimes the bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, other times there turn out to be 200 million birds in the bush. But it sure is a fun story!
