The ever useful Writer Beware blog recently posted a warning about Global Talk Radio. GTR offers to put an interview with you on their site. As evidence that it will be heard they mention that their traffic has surged and give you a chart to prove it...but the figures are from four years ago. Recent figures show that in the last 30 days they had...under 800 visitors. Oops.
Given that evidence, does it make sense to spend your hard-earned money--$99 for a five-minute interview or $147 for a ten-minute interview--with these folks if you want real exposure?
If you want an inteview to post on your own site, do it yourself. Get a friend to be the interviewer, or just create a short chat. You can easily do it using a recording app on your smart phone or iPad or other tablet.
